Kiswahili, is a Bantu language and the a language adapted by East African countries.

Kiswahili is a Bantu language spoken worldwide but majorly in East Africa. The
fact that Uganda is in East Africa each Ugandan should be able to write and speak
Kiswahili because

  • It eases communication between different tribes
  • It is used in business
  • It was made compulsory in the secondary schools new curriculum
  • We study Kiswahili from simple to complex that is beginners, intermediaries and
    upper learners.

BEGINNERS

By the end of the program the beginners will be able to:

  • Introduce themselves in Kiswahili language,
  • Tell the things found at home and their importances in Kiswahili
  • Tell the important people in our community, what they do and their places of work
    in Kiswahili language
  • Will be able to tell the animals found at home in Kiswahili language
  • People at home like mother, father and children in Kiswahili language
  • Will be able to greet in the morning, afternoon and evening in Kiswahili

INTERMEDIARIES

For intermediaries by the end of the program:

  • They will be able to count from zero (0) to one thousand (1000) in Kiswahili
    language
  • They will be able to tell behavioural words like you are welcome, good night and
    nice day in Kiswahili.
  • They will be able to tell the things we find in class in Kiswahili
  • The domestic and wild animals with their importances in Kiswahili
  • The days of the week and months of the year in Kiswahili
  • Telling time in Kiswahili

UPPER LEARNERS (SENIORS)

For the upper learners by the end of the program:

  • They will be able to construct sentences of different tenses in Kiswahili
  • Then tell the different classes of nouns in Kiswahili
  • Know the different parts of human body and their importances
  • Will be able to recite different dialogues in different fields like church, hospital, school
    and shop.
